For example, how often have we cried at movies and realized no one else is crying? Or ate something so wonderful only for someone else to say it’s crap? Or believed in a position so strongly yet no one else did? I’m sure you have your own stories!
So the next time you’re misunderstood, do your best to experience things from the other person’s perspective. Step into their shoes, see things from their eyes, jump into their bodies (if it fits), and live and breathe just like them. And when you do, peace replaces frustration, anger and stress. It’s as simple as that.
