Why? Get healthy skin, Flush away toxins, Reduce your risk of heart attack, Get energized and be alert, Reduce your risk of disease and infection,
2. Breathe deeply into your tummy for 1 minute
Why? More oxygen in your blood stream (always good to have!), Increases metabolic rate, helps circulation, increased energy levels
3. Read an inspirational book (or any non-fiction book you like) for 1 minute
Why? Because it makes you feel good, and when you feel good you function so much better
4. Journal your thoughts and feelings for 1 minute
Why? It gets you in touch with your inner self, something we almost never do in today’s hectic world
5. Set your intention for the day
Why? It gives your unconscious mind a target to focus on and this step alone can change the outcome of your day. Say something positive to yourself, e.g., “today I choose to remain happy and calm even though I know it’s going to be a tough day”, or “my intention for the day is to lead and guide those around me”.
