I have been working the same job for 3 years. For a while, I liked it and was excited to go to work everyday. But as I was getting familiar with the work, I got bored and my boss said I’ve changed.
How can I re-ignite my passion for my job?

You lost your passion for your job? Good news, you are not alone! Many people bitch and moan about how boring their job is, and that it makes them lose passion. Sounds familiar?
“ A person can succeed at almost anything for which they have unlimited enthusiasm.”

Tip 1: What’s your destination?
Having a clear goal about what want to achieve at work will give you motivation. Take a moment to imagine your future and ask yourself “What do I want to achieve at work in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years…?” See your future self. How does the future-you look? What are you doing? How do you sound? Who is around you? And FEEL IT! Are you exited about the goal?

Tip 2: Re-exam where you are now
What drew you into your field to begin with may be different from what excites you now. Take some time to re-exam where are you, ask yourself “What will motivate me NOW at work?”
Do you need more challenge, more variety, more responsibility? Finding the things that are important for you NOW will give you immediate inspiration.
Tip 3: Pastime
When you are bored, it's easy to lose your passion both at work and life. Do something NEW and DIFFERENT after work, develop some new hobbies, or make some new friends…
When you are engaged with something new, your brain will be more active and excited, raising your energy level and keeping you at better physical and psychological state during work.
