I’m easily influenced by negative people around me. I hate this. I feel stuck, but I just can’t help it. Help! How can I be more positive?

Of course you feel bad about it. Negativity limits you. It steals your energy and gets you nowhere.
“Yeah, but this negative pattern is incredibly difficult to change”, you may say. BE CAREFUL! This is a negative thought. Get this out of your system first no matter what happens! Got it?
OK, good, now you are ready move on to the next steps:
They drain you. They resist, refuse, disagree, complain, and drag you down. Avoid them if possible, seriously!
“What if these negative people are my family, boss or boyfriend/girlfriend?” Well, this situation is not as easy. You have no choice but move to step 2.
Step 2: Strengthen your positive mind
How do you do that? Shift your focus to positive things!
“Your energy flows where your attention goes!” Focusing on positive things will help you build your inner strength. How can you be more positive? Use these two tips:
Tip 1: Ask the right questions
Questioning is a powerful way to guide your internal dialog. For example, instead of noticing the things you don’t like about a person, ask yourself, “What’s one good thing about this person?” If things don't turn out as you expected, ask yourself, “What can I learn from it?” Answering these questions will shift your thoughts from negative to positive.
Tip 2: Be grateful
People easily become negative when they are regretful about the past or fearful of the future. Be grateful now, and it will remind you of all the things you already have in your life. It will generate good, positive feelings inside you.
I know it’s not easy to change negative thinking habits. But if you want get unstuck and be happier, CHANGE OR ELSE. The moment you quiet the negative voice inside you and focus on positive things, your life starts moving toward a better place!
