I understand how you feel. 4 years ago I was going through an extremely rough patch in my own life. Finally, I got so sick of the pain, I decided to take 3 small steps to help myself. Instead of focusing on what’s not working, ask yourself “ what can I do to change the situation?” By changing your inner dialogue, your blinding tunnel vision will begin to ease and you can start to see more choices.
Even if what you are going through feels as painful as dying, always remember to SMILE. The simple act of smiling sends a message to your brain that you're happy, creating all kinds of feel-good endorphins. Forcing a smile will make you relax and feel calm, so you can eventually find a better solution.
Stop thinking and just MOVE! When we get stuck, we tend to think too much and do too little. Thinking alone won’t create any change in your life. Move! Do whatever you can do - exercise, go out to have fun, find a new job…
