I have been working the same job for 3 years. For a while, I liked it and was excited to go to work everyday. But as I was getting familiar with the work, I got bored and my boss said I’ve changed.
How can I re-ignite my passion for my job?

Q: I’m 42 years old & the GM of a large company.
I enjoy my work and have achieved extremely good results for the company since over the last 2 years. But I practically work 24/7 and the last year, I gained 10kg, I’m frequently tired, grumpy, and drink and smoke too much.
I hardly see my family, and when I do, I’m usually in a bad mood. I truly enjoy the challenge and sense of achievement from work but this can’t continue. I know all about time management, delegation and work-life balance and even coach my staff about it.
Why can’t I take my own advice?
Q: Recently I’ve been extra busy and it’s started to affect my performance. A lot of these are small mistakes, e.g., typos, or more critical errors like forgetting key points in documents. My boss has been kind enough to just point them out, but how do I stop making these mistakes before it affects my career?

Q: I don't know if Shanghai is the right city for me. I didn’t really want to come to China BUT, I didn't have a choice as the job situation was really bad in my home town.
It's tough to live two lives: keep up with friends/family back home and also maintain real relationships here. My situation requires me to stay here for the short term, but beyond that I just don't know.

Dear REV Life Coach!
Last year I dropped out of college to come to Shanghai and pursue my dreams. So far things have turned out very well. However, almost everyone older than me tells me that I must finish my college education or else...
I understand that college degree is valuable but I also think that my life will not be determined by a piece of paper as long as I have the right attitude. Is it absolutely necessary I finish school or is it still possible for a motivated individual to make it in this world even without a degree?
